Computerized Torque Control System
The Allweigh Computerized Torque Control System increases torque accuracy during pipe make up while decreasing the manpower required to operate. Detailed reports of every connection are automatically generated proving job completion and accuracy. Automated shut down eliminates over-torque and increases onsite efficiency.
Designed for easy installation and hands free operation, this unit will monitor all torque readings and automatically release the hydraulic pressure when tongs reach the required torque value, as well as accurately logging all data acquired for each connection.
The Computerized Torque Control System provides wireless communication between the control box on the rig and laptop computer in doghouse or cab of the truck with up to 400 meters of range for communication.
Our system will auto compensate for different operating speeds or changes in hydraulic fluid viscosity, making sure that optimal torque values are achieved.
End of the day reports take only minutes to print out in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format, with a Microsoft SQL Database holding all readings of the day for future evaluation.
